USDT enters through its THORChain pool (ETH.USDT), the same asset that trades on THORChain and Rujira.

Can people still see my USDT balance?+

Your deposit from a public wallet is a visible event. After that, your USDT sits among everyone else’s in the shared Reserve, and what you do from your private Spending account has no visible link to the wallet you came from.

Do I need a new wallet or a seed phrase for private USDT?+

No. You connect the wallet you already have and sign one message. Your private account is derived from that signature, and an encrypted backup makes it independent of the wallet.

Is USDT always available?+

USDT trades through THORChain and Rujira. Pools and markets can be paused or changed by those networks, so check the app for what is open right now.
