Bitcoin

Private Bitcoin. No public trail.

Swap and trade BTC from a private account with no visible link to your wallet. Redacted keeps your Bitcoin activity on-chain, but not tied to you.

The problem

What a public BTC address gives away

Bitcoin keeps every payment forever. Change outputs, reused addresses and inputs spent together let chain-analysis tools group addresses into one wallet, so a single payment to a merchant or a friend can expose a whole history and a running balance.

Private Mode

What you can do with BTC privately

Swap BTC

Swap to and from other native coins on THORChain from your private account, without wallet popups.

Trade BTC on the orderbook

Place market and limit orders on Rujira against USDC, USDT, ETH, RUNE, RUJI, TCY, WBTC.

Hold BTC in your Reserve

Let it rest among everyone else’s deposits, where your share has no address attached.

Move it when you need it

Shift BTC between the Reserve and your Spending account with a proof made in your browser.

How it works

Three steps, one signature

  1. 1

    Connect and sign once

Use MetaMask, Rabby, Keplr, Trust or the wallet you already have. One message derives your private account.

  2. 2

    Move BTC into your Reserve

Your BTC joins a shared Reserve where everyone’s deposits sit together as encrypted notes.

  3. 3

    Act from Spending

Swap and trade from a private account. Your browser makes a proof for each action and a node carries it on-chain.

FAQ

Private BTC, answered

Is it real BTC or a wrapped copy?+

Bitcoin enters through THORChain, which settles native assets on their home chains, so it is real BTC from Bitcoin, not a bridged IOU.

Can people still see my BTC balance?+

Your deposit from a public wallet is a visible event. After that, your BTC sits among everyone else’s in the shared Reserve, and what you do from your private Spending account has no visible link to the wallet you came from.

Do I need a new wallet or a seed phrase for private BTC?+

No. You connect the wallet you already have and sign one message. Your private account is derived from that signature, and an encrypted backup makes it independent of the wallet.

Is BTC always available?+

BTC trades through THORChain and Rujira. Pools and markets can be paused or changed by those networks, so check the app for what is open right now.
