# What is a recurring order (DCA)?

A recurring order buys or sells in equal parts on a schedule, for example the same amount of Bitcoin every day, instead of all at once. This is also called dollar-cost averaging, or DCA.

Also called DCA or dollar-cost averaging.

## How it works on Rujira

Each part trades on Rujira’s orderbook. You can edit, pause, top up or withdraw a recurring order at any time. Rujira charges a 0.25% automation fee on funds that leave a recurring order, when it completes or when you withdraw, on top of normal trading fees.

## What a public wallet gives away

A schedule is a pattern. Regular buys from the same wallet show how much you add, how often and at what time of day, which says a lot about your income, your plans and even your time zone.

## In Redacted

With Redacted each part still trades on Rujira’s public orderbook, but the order comes from a Spending account, so the pattern has no visible link to your wallet.
